Bailey's Book Club

Bailey’s Book Club is an American Kennel Club® program designed to provide dog-themed books and related resources to K-12 schools around the country that qualify as Title 1 or have at least 40% of students enrolled qualify for free or reduced-price lunch.

The program also provides children with an opportunity to learn about the importance of the human-canine bond. Spokane Kennel Club and Coeur d'Alene Dog Fanciers will be collecting new or gently used dog-themed books for children in grades Pre-K through twelve during our annual All-Breed dog show, obedience and rally trial.

Books can be left at the collection bin at the club table. Donated books will be distributed to Title 1 schools in Kootenai County and Spokane Valley.

While the program is not affiliated with Amazon, a list of recommended books can be found below.
